
TCAT is very pleased to welcome Alex Walton, Ethan Sansom and Sarah Nguyen to the team.
Alex Walton will be working with us over the summer as a Researcher evaluating the impact of our Markham Cycles program going back to its founding in 2019. They are currently a student in the Master of Urban Planning program at Toronto Metropolitan University.
Ethan Sansom is our new Data Analyst intern working on data visualization of the City of Toronto’s ActiveTO programs. Ethan recently graduated from the University of Toronto, where he studied Statistics and Economics. Before joining TCAT, Ethan was a research assistant at the university, working on economic development and education research.
Sarah Nguyen is the Program Assistant and Bike Mechanic for our Newmarket Cycles project. Her responsibilities include running on-the-ground programming, bike mechanics, communications, and community outreach. She’s a graduate of York University’s Urban Studies program and is passionate about promoting the use of active transit, advocating for better safety and accessibility in her ward, and enriching public spaces through the arts.
