
Are you passionate about active transportation and Complete Streets? Use your skills and experience to advance knowledge and evidence to build support for a transportation system that prioritizes walking and cycling!
TCAT’s volunteer steering committee is looking for 2-3 new members to serve this important advisory role. Members of TCAT’s steering committee provide strategic advice and contribute skills to initiatives that advance TCAT’s mandate. At this time, we are particularly seeking applications from individuals that reflect the diversity of the population of our region, including different neighbourhood contexts, with training or experience in:
- active transportation planning, policy-making, design or research
- organizational development and social enterprise models
- communications and marketing
Steering Committee members are asked to commit to at least 5-10 hours per month, attend bi-monthly meetings and serve on a sub-committee. Steering Committee terms are a minimum of two years.
