Upcoming Webinar: Co-designing the Active City Series

The Active Neigbourhoods Canada team is pleased to present the second webinar in our Co-designing the Active City Series, “How to put participatory planning into practice”.

Join us on Wednesday August 28th at 1pm EST to take a deep dive into our co-design tools, and learn how you can implement a participatory planning project in your community. The webinar will use case studies to illustrate how to employ tools from our co-design toolkit. We will share ideal tools to involve citizens in each step of the planning process, from understanding the built environment, to visioning, designing, and implementing interventions that favour health and equity.

This webinar builds upon a webinar broadcast on July 10th, which covered an introduction to the Active Neighbourhoods project, provided an overview of our co-design approach, and used case studies to illustrate the links between the built environment, health, and equity. If you missed this webinar, you can view the broadcast at this link. If you’re new to the concepts of participatory planning and health equity, we recommend that you check out this overview webinar before diving in to webinar #2.

We hope you’ll join us on August 28th! The webinar is free, and registration is available at this link.
