TCAT Director Nancy Smith Lea, along with Kate Whitfield (Alta Planning+Design) and Jennifer Juste (City of Guelph), organized a session titled “Short Stories in Data: Cycling Pilot Projects in Three Ontario Cities” in the 2018 Walk Bike Places conference in New Orleans. Nancy presented the results from TCAT’s Economic Impact of Bike Lanes in Toronto’s Bloor Annex and Korea Town Neighbourhoods research study. Nancy was one of three recipients of APBP’s 2018 Gihon Jordan Scholarship Fund that made it possible for her to attend this premier conference in North America for walking, bicycling and placemaking professionals.
