Windemere Jarvis is a Public Health Specialist Consultant working on the Healthy Built Environments – A Provincial Framework for Healthy Community Design project. She has five years of experience in the field of public health working to achieve health equity on a population level. She has received formal training in Indigenous Cultural Competencies, Diversity in Healthcare and HIV/AIDS Equitable Healthcare Delivery. Windemere recently graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Public Health degree studying social and behavioural sciences with a focus on health promotion theory and public policy development and analysis. She is an advocate for health equity and the socio-ecological determinates of health to be realized across the province of Ontario.
