Thrmiga Sathiyamoorthy is a recent MA graduate from York University. She is a Public Health Specialist Consultant working on the Healthy Built Environments – A Provincial Framework for Healthy Community Design project. She joins TCAT as a community health researcher with five years of experience in health research conducting literature reviews, surveys and interviews, and facilitating focus groups with service providers, youth, parents, and seniors. She has also analyzed various policy areas (e.g., social determinants of health, housing, mental health, caregiving, seniors, and newcomer settlement) in consultation with the Local Health Integration Networks, Ministry of Children and Youth Services, Ministry of Housing, and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
