Kai Zhou

Kai Zhou is currently a Masters of Urban Development student at Ryerson University. Kai’s volunteer work with TCAT has included updating and maintaining the Complete Streets for Canada website, supporting Active Neighbourhoods Canada co-design activities, and supporting the 2018 municipal election survey distribution.  He volunteers with TCAT because he feels that as the city’s population continues to grows immensely, congestion of city streets and the overcapacity of transit have become urgent issues that needs to be addressed. Kai’s bicycle  brings him everywhere across the city on a day to day basis. As such, improving Toronto’s cycling infrastructure to help increase perceived safety and cyclist numbers is something that he is passionate about.
