TCAT, with partners at the University of Toronto, conducted the research study and accompanying report referenced in this news article in order to understand the economic impact of removing parking spaces for bike lanes in Toronto’s Bloor Annex and Korea Town neighbourhoods.

“Retailers often resist bike lanes and other street changes that reduce the number of nearby parking spaces. But research shows that fewer cars are often good for business. ”
