North York Mirror: Traffic signal will open Black Creek farm to pedestrians

TCAT Director Nancy Smith Lea was interviewed by the North York Mirror’s Dominik Kurek about Toronto City Council’s recent decision to install a pedestrian traffic signal at the Black Creek Community Farm.

“This will be a huge improvement for people who want access but don’t have a car, and live close by and would like to walk or cycle and get there safely,” Smith Lea said. “This could have a significant impact on people living there.”
