Markham Cycles Up and Rolling

July 24, 2019 | by TCAT | Photo: Anil Mungal

Markham Cycles officially launched on July 3rd, with a press conference, ride, cake and ribbon-cutting. Check out the photos and read more about the launch. Since then, we’ve packed in three successful weeks of programming, including DIY Drop-In Bike Repair, Learn to Ride for adults and kids, How to Fix a Flat, visits to the Diversity Festival and the Stiver Mill Farmers Market, and more! In the rest of July and August, we’ll be hosting DIY Drop-In Bike Repair on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Workshop topics include e-bikes, fixin’ on the fly, cyclists’ rights, and how to carry things by bike. And on Saturdays, we go for a ride together! Check out markhamcycles.ca for more details, events and to RSVP.
