Over a quarter of trips in Markham, or 260,500 trips a day, are 5km or less, a distance that could easily be biked. TCAT is launching a new project, Markham Cycles, to tap into this potential. A new community bike hub at Milliken Mills Community Centre and Library will host community rides and bicycle repair workshops, as well as CultureLink’s Bike Host, a bike mentorship and loan program.
