Feeling Congested: Complete Streets and Bicycle Policy Frameworks

Feeling Congested, the City of Toronto's consultation initiative on the future of transportation in the city, has begun the second phase of its consultation, and released draft frameworks for Complete Streets, and Bicycle policies.  Members of the public are invited to provide input on phase 2 through the initiative's online tool or by attending a number of events, tours, and meetings.

TCAT is involved with this consultation process to ensure that the benefits of a complete streets policy framework and design guidelines are understood as an important solution for addressing congestion. TCAT's Complete Streets Project Manager, Ryan Whitney, recently made a deputation at Toronto's Public Works and Infrastructure Committee in support of the implementation of new Complete Streets guidelines being developed for Toronto.
