Complete Streets in Quebec: New Case Studies

November 20, 2019 | by TCAT | Photo: City of Montreal, Lachapelle Street

Fourteen new case studies documenting Complete Street transformations from small towns, large cities, and suburban communities across the province of Quebec, have been added to TCAT’s Complete Streets for Canada website. Our partners, the Montreal Urban Ecology Centre, have been working to document Complete Streets in their home province over this past year. The 14 new street redesigns join nine case studies added earlier this year. We are excited to feature all of these 23 inspiring examples from our neighbours in Quebec, and hope you enjoy exploring our Where are Complete Streets in Canada? map!

The Quebec Complete Street case studies feature these municipalities:

  • Baie-Saint-Paul
  • Châteauguay
  • Chibougamau
  • Drummondville
  • Gatineau
  • Laval
  • Lévis
  • Longueuil
  • Montreal (six case studies)
  • Mont-Saint-Hilaire
  • Pointe-Claire
  • Québec City
  • Repentigny
  • Rivière-du-Loup
  • Saint-Eustache
  • Sainte-Thérèse
  • Trois-Rivières
  • Victoriaville
