Change for Good Roads: An Intersectoral Approach to Urban Road Safety

February 18, 2022

Change for Good Roads is a new initiative from Parachute, a national charity dedicated to injury prevention that brings together a wide range of sectors committed to improving urban road safety in Canada.

The Change for Good Roads report provides recommendations for an inter-sectoral approach to urban road safety. Road safety impacts everyone and is everyone’s business. The report identifies five key strategic areas for inter-sectoral organizations and stakeholders to focus their efforts on reducing road violence and provides recommendations on direct, collaborative actions they can take.

In Fall 2021, TCAT along with 17 other organizations participated in the Change for Good Roads round tables. The Change for Good Roads report was released as an outcome of these round tables. Read the report here.
