Best of Luck to TCAT’s Mikey Bennington

December 14, 2017

TCAT’s Policy and Evaluation Lead, Mikey Bennington, will be moving on to a position with Toronto Public Health in January. Over the past four years, Mikey has been an instrumental part of the Active Neighbourhoods Canada team, coordinating community-based efforts to re-imagine streets and public spaces in neighbourhoods in Sudbury, Peterborough, Haliburton, and Toronto, and winning an award at the International Conference for Transport and Health. In his new role, he will continue supporting community efforts to create safe and healthy streets through Toronto’s Healthy Public Policy Directorate. We will be sorry to see him go, but are thrilled to have Tessa Nasca stepping into the position of Project Manager for Active Neighbourhoods Canada. Tessa started at TCAT in September, and brings a wealth of experience in active transportation, urban design and participatory planning.  Best of luck to Mikey, and congratulations Tessa!
