Metro: Toronto’s suburbs need more traffic lights to improve safety: report

Metro’s Gilbert Ngabo interviewed TCAT Director Nancy Smith Lea about Toronto City Council’s recent decision to install a pedestrian traffic signal at Black Creek Community Farm.

“Traffic signals are a lot closer together in the downtown areas than they are in the suburbs,” she said, noting people who use active transportation in the suburbs also need to feel safe.
