Inside Toronto: Making Roads Accessible to All at the Complete Streets Forum

“City staff from various departments met this week to collaborate on developing guidelines for future Complete Streets policies.

About 450 people from various city departments, including Planning, Transportation Services and Toronto Public Health, were expected to take part in a workshop Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Daniels Spectrum in Regent Park to learn more about Complete Streets, the notion that roadways should be open to all forms of transportation including walking and cycling, according to Nancy Smith Lea, director for the Toronto Centre for Active Transportation (TCAT).”
