On December 18, 2014, TCAT released the Complete Streets Catalogue: Understanding Complete Streets in the Greater Golden Horseshoe Region with funding from the Places to Grow Implementation Fund. The catalogue contains several case studies that reflect the diversity of Complete Streets approaches in the region. This case study features Simcoe Street in downtown Toronto. The study describes a pilot project that provides a key north-south connection, as it links with on recent east-west cycling investments along Richmond St. W and Adelaide St. W. Simcoe St works toward improved active transportation network connections and a more inclusive balance of route options for pedestrians and cyclists.
