This report by TCAT is a summary of the 2008 Bike Summit in Toronto. Given the enormous health and environmental benefits of cycling, there is ever increasing pressure to promote cleaner modes of travel. The report includes infrastructure, policy and programs that could be geared towards attracting more cyclists. Case studies from different parts of the world demonstrate the success of certain policies and programs and what could be done to improve.
