In December, the City of Toronto appointed Jacquelyn Hayward Gulati as the new Manager, Cycling Infrastructure and Programs, replacing Daniel Egan who will focus on the development of the new 10-year Bikeway Network Implementation Plan and other projects leading to his retirement this summer.
Jacquelyn joins the City from the City of Mississauga, where she has been the Manager, Active Transportation since 2011 and has led the development and implementation of cycling and pedestrian improvements including bicycles lanes, multi-use trails, sidewalks, wayfinding signage and bicycle parking.”
In taking this new role, Jacquelyn will step down from TCAT’s steering committee at the end of the month.
TCAT is grateful for the incredible passion and expertise that Jacquelyn shared with TCAT as steering committee chair since 2012, and we wish her all the best in her new role!
