City of Toronto Issues RFP for Complete Streets Guidelines

As reported previously in TCAT News, the City of Toronto is currently developing an approach to its own Complete Streets Guidelines adopted by Toronto City Council on May 6, 2014.

Another major milestone for this important initiative has now been reached with the recent release of a Request for Proposals for a Consultant to develop and produce Toronto's Complete Streets Guidelines, undertake stakeholder engagement, and develop an implementation plan. According to the RFP, the Complete Streets Guidelines will be a unifying "umbrella" document for street planning and design in Toronto.

The closing date is August 6, 2014.
