For the first time in seven years, TCAT will be holding its annual Forum in the fall, not the spring. The provisional date for the 7th annual Complete Streets Forum is Monday October 6, 2014. Please save the date. We'd love to have you join us!
The Complete Streets Forum provides a unique opportunity to bring together communities who share common active transportation and Complete Streets design issues to speed up and make more substantial progress by working more closely together. One of our major challenges and also an exciting opportunity – is how to consistently build and design roadway networks that are safer, more livable and welcoming to everyone. TCAT's forums bring together a diverse group of professionals, policy-makers, researchers, advocates, and thought-leaders from across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area and beyond.
TCAT's 2013 Forum featured a day chocked full of evidence-based sessions exploring real-world problems and solutions, guided walking and cycling tours, the unveiling of TCAT's Complete Streets Game, and much more. Building on this track record, the 2014 Forum program will be relevant, provocative and engaging. Stay tuned for our call for proposals to be announced in early 2014.
