Complete Streets Forum 2013: Nearing Capacity

The 2013 Complete Streets Forum, our sixth annual active transportation conference, is fast approaching, and time to register is quickly running out! The conference will take place on May 27, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Toronto. The Share the Road Cycling Coalition Ontario Bike Summit 2013 will take place on May 28-29th at the same location. We are pleased to offer joint registration for both conferences at a discounted rate.

We have a terrific program lined up for you including mobile workshops, hands-on sessions, plenaries and panels.

A reminder that we would love to hear from you to answer our question “What does an ideal Complete Street look like?” Is it a certain width? Is there a maximum number of motor vehicles? What about a maximum speed limit? Does it require wide sidewalks and bike lanes? How about separate transit lanes, bulb-out crosswalks and street trees? Send photos and a brief description of what makes it a Complete Street from your perspective to info@tcat.ca or head over to our Facebook Page and share your ideas, stories and photos of your ideal Complete Street! We will highlight the best examples at the Forum.

We hope you will join us at the Forum to continue the Complete Streets conversation. Since the Forum sold out last year we secured a larger venue this year but with now over 200 people registered we only have a handful of spots remaining. We expect the event to sell out, so be sure to register today.

The Complete Streets Forum is made possible with the generous support of our sponsors.
