This Saturday, May 11 at 2 pm, join pedestrians and cyclists from across Toronto at a rally in front of the Ontario Legislature. The goal of the Cycle and Sole rally is to focus on the role of the provincial government in improving cycling and pedestrian safety. TCAT Director Nancy Smith Lea will be speaking at the event.
Before the rally, at noon, group walks and rides will depart from various points throughout the city, focusing on different pedestrian or cycling issues and initiatives along the way. Bells on Bloor (where you will hear music from the Complete Streets band!) departs from High Park, Bells on Danforth departs from East Lynn Park, Bells on Yonge departs from Duplex Parkette, and the Walk and Roll Caravan departs from St. James Park. All will converge on Queen's Park at 2 p.m. Don't miss this wonderful family-friendly annual event!
