Info Pillar Update

Due to the support of numerous community organizations, councilors, and citizens, the hurried installation of the sidewalk-blocking Astral InfoToGo Pillars is being reconsidered. The Public Works and Infrastructure Committee recommended that the location of all new pillars must be approved by the General Manger of Transportation Services in consultation with the local Councillor. Further concerns of wayfinding, designs, and contractual obligations will be addressed in a March report by the Manager of the Public Realm Unit. Read TCAT's submission here.
