The City of Toronto is looking at re-designing Yonge Street to accommodate the rapid pace of growth and improve mobility. On Feb 22, 2017 @ 6 pm, the Ryerson City Building Institute is hosting a Meet-Up that brings together leading city builders and the public to discuss the future of Yonge Street. Two experts, TCAT Director Nancy Smith Lea and urban planner Ken Greenberg, have been been invited to participate to provide their perspectives on the panel discussion. Nancy’s remarks will reference Complete Streets by Design, the resource TCAT produced in 2012 that visualizes how six Toronto streets, including Yonge Street, could look and feel if redesigned as Complete Streets.
