The Toronto Centre for Active Transportation, a project of the registered charity Clean Air Partnership, held its 8th annual Complete Streets Forum taking place on October 1st, 2015 at Hart House on the St. George campus of the University of Toronto.
The 2015 sold-out Forum featured a terrific line-up of inspiring keynote speakers and diverse and insightful parallel sessions. In response to our Call for Proposals the program was organized into two tracks (foundational and advanced) in the following themes: 1) Plan It, 2) Build It, and 3) Ensuring that “They Will Come”.
The only conference of its kind in North America, our unique program, sessions and cross-sectional approach to transportation has energized the Complete Streets movement in Toronto, across Ontario and throughout Canada. Whether we are hosting international experts, showcasing local examples or sharing technical solutions, the Complete Streets Forum is committed to moving this dialogue forward with emerging research, current challenges and inspiring success stories.
