TCAT’s 7th annual active transportation policy conference – the Complete Streets Forum – took place on October 6, 2014 at Daniels Spectrum in downtown Toronto.
The Complete Streets Forum is an influential event that brings together hundreds of professionals, decision-makers and community members from the Toronto region and beyond. Each year, exit surveys show a high satisfaction rate and interest in attending future events. The Forum provides a unique opportunity to share research, best practices, and creative solutions for designing and implementing Complete Streets – streets that are safe, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
TCAT’s Complete Streets work since 2009 has resulted in growing support and change across the province with more and more communities adopting policies and guidelines and redesigning streets to be more complete. Yet much needs to be done to continue the positive direction we’re on.
TCAT’s Forums build momentum that help communities embrace a new approach to transportation planning, design and policy.
The Complete Streets Forum’s continued success depends on the generous support of our government, corporate and community partners. We are grateful for the support of our partners and sponsors. Learn more by visiting their websites below.
